Pressed flowers can last for years with proper care and handling, however colour fading and browning will occur over time due to exposure to light and other environmental factors as a natural part of the drying process.

To extend the shelf life of your floral frame, keep it out of direct sunlight and avoid placing it in humid places. If you do not intend to display it right away, keep it in a ziplock bag and change the desiccant periodically to slow down the fading process. This method can also help keep it mold-free during the wetter seasons of the year.
